Sheena’s hospital has been transitioning from paper to electronic health records. This is a complex process and the transition has been occurring slowly over the past several years.
At the hospital she works at, the majority of inpatient charts are still paper charts, but she is happy that the outpatient charts are now electronic, which she feels is more efficient (1.10e).
