What are the outcomes of Nutrition Care?
Nutrition Care aims to improve the health outcomes of individuals. These health outcomes can be both clinical and behavioural.
For example, a clinical outcome could include a change in a nutrition-related laboratory value, a change in weight or an increased tolerance to enteral nutrition.
A behavioural outcome could include an increase in fibre intake, an increase in physical activity or reading nutrition labels on packaged foods to inform food choices.
